Quando os l\u00edderes evitam conflitos, a gest\u00e3o de equipas e as rela\u00e7\u00f5es interfuncionais tornam-se um problema. Ignorar uma situa\u00e7\u00e3o de conflito e assumir que os empregados simplesmente ir\u00e3o \u201clidar\u201d com ela, normalmente, aumenta os n\u00edveis de stress e n\u00e3o faz desaparecer o conflito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Evitar o conflito \u00e9 mau para o neg\u00f3cio, e pode ser muito dispendioso!&nbsp;<\/strong>Quando as suas equipas n\u00e3o se sentem ouvidas, v\u00e3o procurar trabalho noutro lugar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os efeitos secund\u00e1rios negativos de fugir ao conflito s\u00e3o frequentemente:<br>\u2022\u2002elevada rotatividade<br>\u2022 um ambiente de trabalho disfuncional<br>\u2022\u2002comunica\u00e7\u00e3o tensa<br>\u2022\u2002perda de produtividade<br>\u2022\u2002trabalho de equipa ineficiente<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Como est\u00e1 a lidar com o conflito na sua empresa?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Imagine que est\u00e1 numa reuni\u00e3o e que surge um problema que causa desconforto num ou mais membros da sua equipa. Ap\u00f3s a reuni\u00e3o, apercebe-se de que o problema escalou desnecessariamente. Isto pode ser uma pista de que as pessoas est\u00e3o a evitar abordar as quest\u00f5es directamente, ou, por outras palavras, est\u00e3o a evitar conflitos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este tipo de comportamento n\u00e3o \u00e9 invulgar. Come\u00e7ou a acreditar-se que a felicidade e o bem-estar dos colaboradores obrigariam a evitar o conflito \u2013 mas n\u00e3o \u00e9 necessariamente assim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre l\u00edderes e membros da equipa torna-se menos eficaz quando a fuga ao conflito \u00e9 elevada. Um exemplo claro \u00e9 desencorajar os funcion\u00e1rios a expressar a sua opini\u00e3o para evitar desacordos ou descontentamento com os l\u00edderes da organiza\u00e7\u00e3o, ou com a pr\u00f3pria organiza\u00e7\u00e3o.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/publication\/318136141_The_cross-cultural_study_of_LMX_and_individual_employee_voice_The_moderating_role_of_conflict_avoidance\">Park<\/a>, 2017).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nas rela\u00e7\u00f5es profissionais, \u00e9 comum entrar em conflito com as pessoas, mesmo aquelas com quem nos damos bem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>O que fazer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1.\u2002Reconhecer o conflito rapidamente e manter uma atitude positiva:<\/strong>&nbsp;\u00c9 importante detectar o conflito o mais cedo poss\u00edvel. O conflito pode, com o tempo, ganhar ra\u00edzes e agravar-se, amea\u00e7ando o envolvimento da equipa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2.\u2002Estabelecer uma mentalidade positiva em torno do conflito:<\/strong>&nbsp;Criar a expectativa de que as tens\u00f5es s\u00e3o parte de qualquer local de trabalho. Enfatizar o car\u00e1cter saud\u00e1vel e produtivo das diverg\u00eancias, para impedir que as pessoas vejam a diversidade de pensamento como uma din\u00e2mica disfuncional. Desta forma, est\u00e1 a dar a cada membro da equipa um papel a desempenhar para atenuar o conflito quando este surge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3.\u2002Concentre-se no essencial, n\u00e3o nos pontos de vista:<\/strong>&nbsp;Quanto mais algu\u00e9m estiver concentrado em defender o seu ponto de vista, mais teimoso fica. A maioria das vezes as pessoas identificam-se com o seu ponto de vista. Quando isto acontece, a probabilidade de resolver um conflito \u00e9 reduzida porque as pessoas querem estar certas!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se alguma vez for apanhado neste ciclo, torne claro aquilo que realmente importa, o que \u00e9 importante para si e para a empresa. Isto dar-lhe-\u00e1 a si e ao outro a oportunidade de escolher uma op\u00e7\u00e3o que v\u00e1 ao encontro do que \u00e9 procurado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No nosso trabalho com l\u00edderes e gestores em diferentes pa\u00edses do mundo, temos testemunhado que, em situa\u00e7\u00f5es de conflito,<strong>&nbsp;\u00e9 bom aproveitar a energia da situa\u00e7\u00e3o, ajudando as pessoas a articular&nbsp;<\/strong>(1) o que observam, (2) o que sentem em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 quest\u00e3o, (3) quais s\u00e3o as suas necessidades, e (4) qual \u00e9 o seu pedido aos outros - ver:&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nonviolentcommunication.com\/\">Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o violenta, uma linguagem de vida, de Marshall B.
