Solving the complicated puzzle of having your people working remotely and the need to keep them productive and engaged, may strike you as an insurmountable proposition.

By being assertive and in control, a good leader will ensure that questions like “what do you need?” don’t go unasked and, concordantly, don’t go unanswered. 

Being able to talk as a group, to problem-solve, to meet – even if remotely – will avoid the feeling of isolation and powerlessness.

Just remember, listening to everyone in order to find solutions is something that leaders can only do if they give others the opportunity to speak!
